Reads worth Reading

Updated: Sep 8

The list of books that follows have either been recommended to me I haven't been able to read them yet or I have read them myself. Either way, these books are set to change your perspective on the world and of course, yourself.

The list is in no specific order, just pick up the one that grabs your attention first and keep going. I have learnt so much from each of these books and they have helped me create change that has made my life and wellbeing all the better.

Start With Why - Simon Sinek

If your into understanding yourself and what drives you, this could be the book for you. Learn why it is important in starting with why you're doing something. We are all leaders in some way, whether your are the head of a team, a company ,or your family, this book can help you learn to be a natural leader and inspire those around you.

The Go-Giver - Bob Burg and John David Mann

This is a fantastic little book with an impressive idea. The quote on the front of the book really sums up this little tale.

'The Go-Giver is the most important parable about business - and life - of our time' - Adam Grant

Essentialism - Greg McKeown

As I have already pointed out, we live in a hectic fast-paced world, but much of what we do, buy, or where we put our attention isn't essential to your life. This book helps to make sense of and identify the essentials in your life and how become more essential can improve your health.

The Power of Habit - Charles Duhigg

Habits might be one of the most important things to understand yourself when it comes to making change. Charles does a fantastic job of explaining how we create habits, how we can identify the habits helping or hindering us and what we can do to adjust these habits to help us in our daily lives. If you are struggling with making changes to your habits, this book may let you in on the missing piece of info you need.

The Winner's Bible - Dr Kerry Spackman

Looking to become a winner? Throughout this book you'll dive deep into the understanding of yourself and how to make changes to make you dreams of being your best self come true. This book is great at taking you step by step through the process, so if that sounds like you, it's probably time to give this book a go.

The Invisible Load - Dr Libby Weaver

In the fast paced world that we live in we all, at some time or another, need a bit of guidance when it comes to stress and feeling overwhelmed. Dr Libby has a number of books and its hard to choose just one of them. This book guides you through what stress is, how to identify it and how to deal with it. If your feeling overwhelmed and looking for an answer, this might be the book for you.

Tools of Titans - Tim Ferriss

Tim has interviewed so many people for this book it's amazing. Every step of this book provides information to grow your understanding of the world around us and how some of the top performing athletes and business people go about their daily lives. This is definitely one of the best reads on this list and well worth your time.

There are so many more books that are well worth the read, but I hope this short list gives you a place to learn and grow with some big ideas.

Happy reading
